The “topped” process removes lighter fractions (C8–C10), resulting in a concentrated blend of medium- to long-chain fatty acids (C12 to C18). This grade is particularly rich in Lauric Acid (C12) and Myristic Acid (C14), making it highly suitable for soap, detergent, surfactant, personal care, and oleochemical industries.
